Our History & Mission

Mission & Vision:

We are a small nonprofit dedicated to bridging the gap between police and communities. Our vision is that one day communities will thrive because our police officers are mentally, emotionally, and spiritually healthy – reaching areas in the community that only they can. Our programs and services focus heavily on making meaningful changes that bring harmony and hope. Our goal is to go on a national level, encouraging community policing and involvement.

Slogan:

Together We Can | Police & Communities.

History:

Back The Blue Police was created after an appreciation luncheon for the Skiatook & Sperry Police and Fire EMT departments. While planning this event Kara received a few messages from civilians wishing to create unity and understanding among police and communities. It was clear there was a need for all voices to be heard in a respectful and kind way. Shortly thereafter, BBP was born.
